Thank you for your interest in a position with Apalachicola Bay Charter School.  We are a fully accredited public school serving Pre K through 8th grade. 
It is the mission of ABC School that each child will achieve his or her academic and social potential.  Our vision is to create a community-centered facility that promotes students and parent participation in a stimulating learning environment that is positive, hopeful, and exciting.

Once an application is submitted it is reviewed to ensure the applicant meets minimum job requirements. An interview team may be comprised of administrative, instructional or support personnel. Upon offer of employment the following pre-employment screenings are required:
  • Fingerprints & Drug Screen policy: To prevent hiring individuals who use illegal drugs or individuals whose use of legal drugs or alcohol indicates a potential for impaired or unsafe job performance, the Franklin County School Board will require pre-employment screening examinations. All new full-time, part-time, instructional, and non-instructional employees must have drug screening and fingerprint clearance at the expense of the employee.
  • Disqualification of employment also based on  Florida Statute 1012.315.
